Deadline for Assignment 1 is this Friday by 4 O`clock see Moodle on how to publish your work to me or go back to your notes.

You should be blogging about your short films and writing your treatments.

What you need to do

 

You need to blog 4 short films under the headings of

Camera work

MES

Sound 

Editing

The films you blog about will be part of your research evidence.  You must do About a Girl and then choose three others

Secondly start to plan your short film using your booklet or a scrapbook available from the College shop pound shop etc. 

Next week we will be planning and I will be showing you more films.  By the end of next week a synopsis should be written

Next week I will be introducing the new Assignment which will be a short film to be produced individually.  With this in mind can you start getting down some ideas of the type of film you would like to make

Block 4

You have had your assignment set from Dan.   We will be going through this again on Monday and I will be exploring some ways of presenting your work.  Can you all make sure you have logged into the new Office 365 email system before Monday.

Block 5 

You will receive the assignment in tomorrows lesson.  You will then be given time to work on it.

Disappointing to see that some students are yet to complete the editing posts on their blogs.  Please get this posted asap along with any Home films not yet on the blog.  

This week

This week you need to make sure that you have posted your Home films on your blog and that all the work on Angles is present as well.

We will be planning this week in the double lessons.  Can you make sure you are in groups we will start the double with a brief example of lighting technique

For this homework you have a week to film a short piece on the theme of Home

This does not have to be your home it could be where your bike lives, next door, the allotment your sports teams home, in fact anywhere that anyone anything could call home. NB I am not looking for three minutes of footage from your room. Be creative an interesting.

This must be filmed and edited in the suite this week and uploaded onto your blog by Friday 25 for Blk 5 or Monday 28 for Blk 4 so we can see them in the lesson.

As for your blogs make sure you have put my email into your follow by email gadget

ahampson@centralsussex.ac.uk

Then add My blog list from add a gadget and put in the address of this blog

By all means change the design and templates but please keep it clean
